EYEBALLERS Respawns: JW and flusha To Create a New Swedish Powerhouse

The Swedish duo Jesper “JW” Wecksell and Robin “flusha” Rönnquist have teamed up to bring the legendary organization EYEBALLERS back to life. Together with three talented youngsters, the icons aim to take the CS:GO scene by storm:
“We are very excited to bring back EYEBALLERS and use it as a platform to develop Swedish Counter-Strike and help develop new talents to new levels. Our long-term vision is to take back a legacy brand and make Swedish fans proud once again.” says the CEO and founder of EYEBALLERS, Jesper Wecksell.

The former triple CS:GO Major winners Jesper ”JW” Wecksell and Robin ”flusha” Rönnquist are at it again. The duo, two of Sweden’s most successful esport stars ever, who became world-famous as they reigned supreme in the world of Counter-Strike, today announce the formation of EYEBALLERS - a new Swedish esports organization based in Avesta, Sweden.

The new company has acquired the trademark from the previous owners who helped EYEBALLERS become one of the most legendary organizations in the early days of esports. EYEBALLERS was founded in 1998 and has a long and rich history in Quake and Counter-Strike and with multiple World Championship titles under its belt.

“We will cherish the great history the brand radiates, but not without adding our own cocky inputs. We want to become a leading voice in esports, because to us - gaming is everything,” says JW.

The organization will initially only focus on Counter-Strike and further developing Swedish CS talent. The first iteration of Eyeballers will consist of the aforementioned flusha and JW, who will be joined by Anton “Sapec” Palmgren, Casper “SHiNE” Wennerberg and Leo “Svedjehed” Svedjehed. All players with merits from teams like Young Ninjas, AURA and Lilmix.

“We will measure the success of the project in a variety of ways, either we make it back to the top which is our ultimate goal - or we at least help some of the best young talents Sweden has to offer who will have the opportunity to make it to the big leagues.” says Robin “flusha” Rönnquist, co-founder with JW.

As part of the re-launch - EYEBALLERS has signed three partners to help support the new organization. JBL Quantum joins as Presenting partner of the team and will provide the players with outstanding in-game audio and support the respawn of EYEBALLERS. They join alongside Head Partners Peas of Heaven and Bitskins. EYEBALLERS will also team up with Black Molly Entertainment and Frame to spearhead the commercial development of the team, partner management and provide media production around the team. Together, all parties will work hard to help EYEBALLERS reclaim our position as one of the leading organizations in esports.

EYEBALLERS will play their first tournament as they enter the Playoffs of Svenska Elitserien 10-11th of June 2022 at SPACE Digital Centre in Stockholm.
