Welcome home, KRiMZ
EYEBALLERS sign two-time Major champion Freddy Johansson

EYEBALLERS are proud to announce the signing of Freddy "KRiMZ" Johansson, one of the most decorated and consistent players in Counter-Strike history. The two-time Major champion joins from fnatic, where he spent the better part of 12 years, and steps into the active roster in place of Jonatan "bobeksde" Persson.

A cornerstone of fnatic's golden era, KRiMZ built a reputation as one of the steadiest and most respected riflers the game has ever seen. His move to EYEBALLERS also marks a reunion: he rejoins Jesper "JW" Wecksell, his former fnatic teammate and now EYEBALLERS co-owner and in-game leader, bringing two pillars of Sweden's most celebrated CS era back under the same banner.

The signing continues a clear mission for EYEBALLERS. Last summer the club brought bobeksde back to Sweden from international side 9INE, and KRiMZ's arrival doubles down on that commitment: keeping Swedish talent, and Swedish legends, on a Swedish team.

Axel "Acke-47" Fridén, CEO at EYEBALLERS, said: "Last year we were proud to bring bobeksde back to Sweden from an international roster, and that already meant a lot to us. But bringing KRiMZ home hits different. This is a player who helped define an entire era of Swedish Counter-Strike, and getting to play a part in bringing him back to the Swedish scene, back alongside JW no less, is something I'm genuinely proud of. EYEBALLERS has always been about Swedish CS, and signings like this are exactly why we do what we do."

Jesper "JW" Wecksell, team captain and in-game leader at EYEBALLERS, said: "I've shared a server with Freddy through some of the best moments of my career, so getting to do it again, this time at EYEBALLERS, means a lot to me personally. He's still one of the most reliable players in the world and exactly the kind of presence this team needs. We built EYEBALLERS to be a home for Swedish Counter-Strike, and having KRiMZ choose to come home and be part of it tells you we're building something real. I can't wait to get started."

Freddy "KRiMZ" Johansson said: "It feels right to be here. EYEBALLERS is a Swedish project with people I know and trust, and lining up next to JW again after all these years is special. I've still got a lot to give, and I'm excited to do it at home, in front of Swedish fans. Let's go to work."

EYEBALLERS would also like to thank Jonatan "bobeksde" Persson for his contribution over the past year and wishes him nothing but success in his next chapter.
