EYEBALLERS has taken the Swedish CS:GO scene by storm. Since the organization's re-inception, the squad has quickly become the team to beat in Sweden. With the acquisition of Peppe “Peppzor” Borak, EYEBALLERS hope to reignite the spark needed to compete against the best in the world.
– We have had our eyes on Peppzor for quite some time now, and we are delighted to be able to announce the recruitment of such a prominent rifler, says Jesper “JW” Wecksell, co-founder and CEO of EYEBALLERS.
Six months have passed since EYEBALLERS saw the light of day once again after having laid dormant for 14 years. The legendary duo, Jesper “JW” Wecksell and Robin “flusha” Rönnquist, spearheaded the re-launch and aim to deliver another competitive team to the Swedish CS:GO scene.
After winning the spring season of Elitserien already at the launch weekend, EYEBALLERS has already established itself as the go-to destination in Swedish Counter-strike. The duo of JW and flusha hopes that the addition of Peppe “Peppzor” Borak will rekindle the necessary fire of months past, while also staying true to the core concept of EYEBALLERS.
– One part of our overall aspiration with EYEBALLERS is to nurture Swedish Counter-Strike, one key component in that ambition is to constantly scour the scene for the best talent.
We identified Peppzor early in our scouting process and we are excited to now call him a teammate, says JW.
The well-renowned rifler has recently proven his worth in Fnatic, having been an instrumental part of the team that won Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 in November and has been delivering promising results with Fnatic Academy all year long. Now, Peppzor aims to bring that same level of performance to EYEBALLERS, as the Swedish side continues its strive to reach the top.
– I’m extremely happy to have been given this opportunity. EYEBALLERS is a legendary organization. JW, flusha, and I share the same ambition, we want to compete for the biggest trophies and I believe this transition will help me immensely to reach my goals, says the man of the hour, Peppzor, himself.
Peppzor will replace Leo "Svedjehed" Svedjehed who, for the time being, will be placed on the bench while we look over his options for 2023.
Based out of Avesta in Sweden, EYEBALLERS strives to become a leading voice in the world of esports. The legendary brand has been given a new opportunity to once again reclaim its position at the top of the esports hierarchy.
